Vintage mascara boxes are literally the cutest things ever...but from the looks of it, applying mascara probably took a little bit more effort and patience. Actually not really, I guess we're all just used to the standard "automatically-coated" tubes of black goop. Since I have 8 AM classes, I prefer to use a quick swipe of mascara before heading out so I don't look like I'm about to fall asleep every five minutes.
I'm not one to experiment too much, especially with makeup since I hardly wear any. My idea of "makeup" is mostly just defining the eyes so the tubes of mascara that I swear by are: A) Voluminous Million Lashes Excess & B) Voluminous Extra-Volume Collagen Mascara. Both are in black and are by L'Oréal. I hope I don't sound like I'm promoting their products but these tubes work really really well. Call me shallow, but I definitely take aesthetics in to account when purchasing something. So these tubes were just too pretty to resist!
I love love love this one! Voluminous Million Lashes Excess has a neat brush which is slightly curved/bent and its bristles are distinctly straight-shaped in order to get the best possible curl out of your lashes. If you're looking for volume or definition, get this one. Plus the tube is red and gold which is a win win.
As you can probably tell, the brush on this wand is slightly bigger with less straight bristles which gives your lashes more than enough volume. This is the Voluminous Extra-Volume Collagen Mascara and it's the one that I'm currently using. This tube offers easy application and you don't even need to apply it twice since the formula immediately makes your lashes more voluminous and fuller.
So head out and buy these cute mascaras because they make your eyes look better as well as the space in your makeup bag.
